Thanks for stopping by my blog and portfolio page! My name is Matthias Worch, and I am a game designer with over 10 years of experience in the videogame industry. I'm originally from Germany, but now live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife Victoria.
On this page you'll find my game development portfolio, a collection of Opinions That Might Not Matter (the blog), downloads for my free 3D levels and my game development lectures/articles, and a page dedicated to my videos.
If you're wondering where the blog title came from, look no further than Simon Pegg's and Edgar Wright's brilliant 2004 movie Shaun of the Dead. I used to have various non-sequitors in the title bars of my old page, and this was one of them (another favourite was "Oh good! My dog found the chainsaw!" from Lilo & Stitch). The phrase seemed fitting - I have made a living of creating oh-so-bloody first person shooters, and Shaun of the Dead was the first movie my wife and I ever watched together.
