Vault Beneath The White Tower

The search for Amyrlin Seat leads you deep into the Vault and culminates in the only enemy fight of the level – against yourself, as your image in a mirror comes alive and attacks. Getting somebody who looks like yourself to step out of a mirror, and then allowing the player to go through that mirror and end up somewhere completely different, was quite a challenge. I got it to work using regular engine technology, but only on Voodoo cards. It’s visually broken if you play the game in Direct3D today.
