Lair footage from TGS

Update 2: High-res version of video.
Update: Probably the most complete (albeit a bit small) video of the TGS demo can be found on Gametrailers. 5:45 minutes, includes sound!

Most videos are tiny resolution, the game runs in true 1080p. Still, this might give you an impression of what the people in Tokyo are playing. Here’s the page for the Gametrailers video (HD version should be added soon), and click on the image below for another high-res video.

The game looks great (though i havent seen the HD footage)…the only thing i dont like is that the dragon breath looks like a fire cannon. Maybe more detail in it would lead me to think different but for now i think that. Keep the hard work!!!!

    Amazing!! Great Job ;)

I heard that Lair was going for more than six other months of development.Although this TGS demo looked truly great, there are some defaults that I hope will be corrected in the final version…as for example these litte frame-rate problems,or more serious, the poor soldiers’ AI…What do you think of that Matt ? Is the game going to be more and more beautiful and look more and more amazing ?

Mr.Eggebrecht has been interviewed on IGN,did you read that interview ? Mr.Eggebrecht says that the player will be able to fight in a lot of large combat areas, and go everywhere he wants in his game world….So,does that mean Lair will be an open world, like Oblivion for example ?

Sony announced there will be a Ps3 show during October, with all the first games of the console,in their most advanced version…Will we see Lair ? And,finally,is the TGS demo extracted from an ancient version of the game,or the all last version ?

Thank you again for all we’ve been able to see about Lair those last days..that was really great ;)

I think you can expect changes with any game that is still in development, it’s just the nature of development. But I don’t want to comment on specific game features or areas of improvement. I don’t know about future presentation plans.
I’d say enjoy the current footage and wait for new information. Now that the initial “embargo” has been lifted, there’s bound to be more material on the way :)

It seems a lot of the environmental details are lost in the footage.

    Ok,thank you ;)

Your director,if he really is lol,Mr.Eggebrecht told Ign the game will be released on Spring 2007.Can we expect to hear and see more about the game before the end of 2006 ?

Once again, your game looks truly amazing! ;)

Btw, more material on the way? Awesome.

Sorry to ask this but I’m french and I don’t understand the meaning of “btw” ? lol.
Well, anyway, what I understood was that there was more material on the way, that’s the essential.

BTW means “By The Way” :) As for more material, we’ll have to wait and see what surfaces.

This dragon has some serous problem with the tail.
    Why is it so polygonal?
If the tail is so hard to do then why don’t you just cut it short.
